Timeline

Long before Giannis Antetokounmpo rose to NBA stardom (literally, since he’s a starter in the 2017 All-Star game) he had made his first basketball footsteps on a small open court in the area of Sepolia, Athens where he grew up.

This humble cozy cafe was the daily hang out of the Antetokoumpo brothers as the owners are huge basketball fans and definitely know how to show it! There is merchandise everywhere especially featuring the talented brothers! You can enjoy a drink or snack while checking out all the decor!

Wander through the indoor and outdoor spaces of the SNFCC, in a guided tour that highlights how the SNFCC’s design, construction and operation reflect its vision of creating a public space open to all, without discrimination.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the iconic Stavros Niarchos Hall,* one of the world’s major opera venues; to learn about the new outlook offered by the state-of-the-art facilities of the National Library of Greece; and to enjoy a panoramic view of Athens from the Lighthouse, the highest vantage point at the SNFCC. The tour includes architectural information as well as information about the core pillars of the SNFCC: sustainability, accessibility and education.

Only 6 km from the centre of Athens, in Paleo Faliro, Flisvos Marina is Greece’s first exclusive marina to offer large-scale mooring capacity for mega-yacht owners from Greece and abroad. The marina features 303 berths, more than half of which accommodate luxury yachts of over 35 meters.

A commercial complex, that stretches across 3,800 sq.m, features a majestic Mediterranean esplanade lined with fine dining and shopping venues as well as a roster of special events throughout the calendar year for yacht owners and visitors alike.
