The Parthenon

Hadrian’s Arch

This triumphal arch was built by the Roman emperor Hadrian. It is located on the grounds of the temple of Olympian Zeus and leads from the old city to the new one.

Panathenaic Stadium

It was built to honor the goddess Athena and the Panathenaic games. In 1986, the first modern Olympic Games were hosted here

The Hellenic Parliament

Built in the 19th century as a palace for King Otto and Queen Amalia.

The Presidential Mansion

Is the official residence of the President of the Hellenic Republic.

Lycabettus Hill

Stands out for its panoramic view of Attica. The hill which is 278 meters high, is located in the center of Athens. It is crowned by the whitewashed St. George Chapel and you get there by cable car.

The New Acropolis Museum

One of the world’s most modern museums opened in 2009 and already visited by millions. It is set opposite the Parthenon and it houses artifacts of the Archaeological site of the Athenian Acropolis from prehistoric times until the end of antiquity.

The National Archaeological Museum

This museum consists of some of the most important artifacts of Ancient Greek art until the late Roman period. Statues from the Mycanae Antikythera wreck, the “mask of Agamemnon”, and the wall paintings of Thera statues from the Cycladic period are just some of the treasures on display.
